Over 150 PAID fans were in attendance at the New Horizon’s Masonic Temple for this year’s installment of Brink of Insanity!
Brink of Insanity opened up with an unscheduled tag team match between The Network (Mykal Manix, Maxx Stardom, Dash Maverick, and Angel Rose) VS BDG Enterprises (Rusty Brooks, Big Daddy Gonzo, and Jordan Rayner). The Network scored the victory in 8 seconds after Angel Rose hit a Top Rope Cross Body on Rusty Brooks for the Pin Fall.
The # 1 Contendership 20 Man Battle Rumble was next as Joker defeated 29 other men in controversial fashion in 25 minutes and 30 seconds.
A three way dance between J-Dawg Brooks and the debuting Showtime and Alex The Great Chamberlain, saw J-Dawg Brooks score the pin fall with the Dawg Drop for the victory in 5 minutes 40 seconds.
An outstanding tag team contest between The Network’s (Mykal Manix, Maxx Stardom, and Dash Maverick) VS The Dirty White Boyz (Blazin’ Matt Bateman and Scott Passion) was next. The Network capitalized on their “Network Rule Clause” in their contract to score the pin fall in 14 minutes and 32 seconds.
Following the match Rusty Brooks demanded that Mykal Manix defended the ICW Latin American Championship against Skorpio. Skorpio defeated Mykal Manix with the Depolarizer in just 2 minutes and 35 seconds.
J-Biggs and Dominic Vega battled in a Japanese Strong Style Match that saw the newest Rude Awakening member J-Biggs scored the victory after hitting Broken Neck 2004 at the 11 minutes 27 second mark.
The Women’s Championship match was next as Angel Rose defeated Kellie in 3 minutes and 58 seconds.
ICW Director of Authority Rusty Brooks demanded that Angel Rose defend the Women’s Championship against Calypso next. Calypso made quick work of Angel Rose to be declared the new ICW Women’s Champion in only 1 minute and 27 seconds.
Due to the controversial fashion in which Skorpio won the ICW Latin American Championship, the ICW Front Office deemed the planned Skorpio VS Romano Exchange ST match a Latin American Championship Match. Skorpio defeated Romano Exchange ST in his first title defense in 7 minutes and 22 seconds.
A rematch for the ICW United States Tag Team Championship was next as the Midnight Studs defeated the departing Dade County Collision in 10 minutes and 49 seconds.
The Main Event was deemed a No Holds Barred Match for the ICW Championship by ICW Majority Owner Richard Gonzorelli. Ernest R. Alexander III and the Michael Sain battled all over the New Horizon’s Masonic Temple. Michael Sain had the upper hand all match, but ERA scored the pin fall after a desperation small package pin in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
After the match Michael Sain and Alex Chamberlain attacked ERA until # 1 Contender Joker came in for the save. Joker and ERA cleaned house then posed for a few minutes. As Joker comes down from the ropes after posing ERA super kicks and stands over him with a discontent look in his face. ICW Director of Authority comes out and hands ERA a briefcase containing $20,000. ERA had cashed in the $20,000 bounty on Joker’s head.
